The Querétaro Congress Center (QCC), designed under international standards with an cutting-edge concept by architect Teodoro González de León, was inaugurated on February 5, 2011. It has a construction area of 32,000m2 and 15 rooms.
Since the opening of the QCC in 2011 and up to date (January 2017), we have operated more than 600 events, including sports, academic, cultural, exhibitions, congresses, conventions, and other events.
From 2011 to 2016, there has been an average of 135 events per year with a participation average of more than 250 thousand attendees.

The Querétaro Metropolitan Theater (QTM) opened its doors to the public in November 2012 as part of the architectural complex of the Querétaro Congress Center (QCC). Architect José de Arimetea Moyao López was commissioned this project. He offer the city of Querétaro a majestic and cutting-edge building.
It is unique in its size and is the fifth best equipped of the country. It is configured according to international specifications and technical requirements of the highest quality in terms of audio, lighting and video systems. In addition, it has complementary areas such as press rooms, dressing rooms, private and public parking, and laundry area.
The QTM began hosting events in January 2013, even if it opened in November 2012. That year the Institute of Culture and Arts of Querétaro supported with the execution of 90 cultural events.
From 2013 to 2016, there has been an average of 161 events per year with an average participation of more than 91 thousand attendees.
