Weather


The weather in the capital and surrounding areas is mild and quite pleasant most of the year. The temperature ranges between 16° and 22°C. If you move away from the capital you will find cooler or drier climates in the semi-desert area. In the Sierra Gorda area, the weather is more humid and the temperature is almost always above 20ºC.

Language


In Querétaro people speak Spanish, but it is very likely that people you cross on the street can help you if you speak in English.

Timezone


Querétaro has the CST Central Standard Time. Summer time starts the first Sunday of April and ends the last Sunday of October.

How to get?

Privileged Location

The venue is located in the south of the capital, 5 minutes away from the bus terminal. Once in the capital Santiago de Querétaro, it will take you 10 minutes by car to reach the Congress Center if you come from the south (CDMX), or 35 minutes if you come from the north (SLP). If you are at the Historic Center, you can take a taxi cab and you'll be there in 15 minutes tops. From the airport, the taxi ride is about 45 minutes.

The venue is 5 minutes away from the bus terminal in the Centro Sur area. Central Park and Q7001, two residential and commercial areas, are only 10 minutes away. There you will find variety of eating options, shopping and banks. The World Cup Stadium La Corregidora is also located near this area.

This is one of the strongest sectors in Querétaro since it has 4 OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer), generates 49 thousand employees and accounts for 28.5% of the States exports.

It has 74 TR1 suppliers and more than 200 TR2 suppliers.

Biotechnology

 

100 companies make up this industrial sector that generates more than 25 thousand jobs. There is a biotechnology cluster formed by 29 companies.

Aeronautics

 

It is the most successful aerospace cluster in the country and has more than 80 organizations. Querétaro is the state that receives the highest investment nationwide in this sector.

Querétaro hosts the UNAQ, the first aeronautical university in Mexico and an Aerospace Park destined 100% to this sector. In addition, we have 2 OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer).
